Zhanjiang-Nanjing Postal Freight Route Officially Opened

Recently, a China Postal Airlines B737-800F freighter successfully passed through the "water salute" at Zhanjiang Wuchuan International Airport, marking the official opening of the Zhanjiang-Nanjing freight route. This is the first daily scheduled air cargo route in western Guangdong, primarily serving fresh produce, e-commerce parcels, and local specialty agricultural products, significantly reducing transportation time. Currently, the route covers Zhanjiang, Maoming, and Yangjiang; it is expected to extend to Jieyang starting in July, further radiating to eastern Guangdong cities such as Shantou, Chaozhou, Meizhou, and Shanwei, as well as parts of Hainan and Guangxi. After the new route opens, mail from western Guangdong to eastern Guangdong can be delivered "the next morning," and mail to major cities nationwide will generally be delivered "the next day"; mail sent from other places to western and eastern Guangdong can be delivered on the same day the mail airline arrives. Overall delivery time has been improved by an average of more than half a day.
